With over 20 years of experience, Shawn specializes in pharmaceuticals and emerging life science technologies, excelling in scientific and corporate due diligence. He is well known for identifying and supporting emerging companies with strong leadership, milestone achievements, and substantial investor returns. He has raised capital and invested in life sciences companies that have achieved valuations exceeding $1 billion.

Shawn earned his degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver and holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses

He is Managing Director of Wilmington Capital Securities’ Life Sciences Investment Banking Division, and formerly served as Head of Investment and Merchant Banking at Noble Life Science Partners. Prior to that, he was a Founding Partner at Variant Research and Senior Vice President at Avalon Research, both focused on life sciences equity research.
