Steve Coleman

Legal Counsel

Steve has been working with venture portfolios and early-stage companies for more than 25 years, focusing on structuring and negotiating commercial transactions and building value and scale through the development of key relationships.

Steve earned his B.A. in Economics from Columbia, an M.B.A. from Harvard, and a J.D. from Boston University. 

Steve brings expertise in financing, M&A transactions, business development partnerships, day-to-day legal affairs, and management of outside counsel. Steve also assumes a broader role in support of operational areas, including finance, sales, business development, marketing, and technology.

He has negotiated complex transactions with major drug and technology companies and large hospitals, in addition to scores of smaller deals with a variety of large and small counterparties.
